A Russian drone struck School 12 in Kyiv on Thursday, shattering windows and partly destroying a wall, according to Ukrainian officials and the school's headteacher.

No children or teachers were injured. The school had received an air raid alert, and all 104 children present had moved to shelter classrooms before the strike hit. Valentyna Chorna, the school's headteacher, said in a statement that Russian forces "spare no one" and called the attack part of a deliberate campaign against Ukraine's future.

The strike was captured on CCTV footage. It marks the latest instance of Russian aerial attacks targeting civilian infrastructure in Kyiv, the capital, during the ongoing war in Ukraine.
